The National Institute on Aging (NIA) Laboratory of Neuroscience, Neurocognitive Aging Section (https://www.nia.nih.gov/research/labs/lbn/neurocognitive-aging-section) located in Baltimore MD, utilizes state-of-the-art behavioral and microscopy techniques to study basic system neuroscience in relation to cognitive aging.
Opportunities may be available for a motivated candidate with a background in Neuroscience, Psychology, or related field and with extensive rat handling and behavior testing experience to provide research support including behavioral testing of rats, biological sample acquisition, animal colony management, data analysis, and other activities as required.
